Do you like painting, sports, or volunteering? Find a class or group that shares your passion! Whether it's pottery, cooking, or soccer, joining a class for something you love is a great way to meet like-minded people. It's a great way to meet people, even if English isn't their thing. Plus, you'll have fun doing what you love while making new friends! Step 6: Go to as many events as you can. Be sure to check out local events, movie nights, music festivals, and gatherings in your area. These events provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere to learn about the local culture and make new friends.
