TVCOGECO exploite actuellement 37 stations dans de petits et de gros marchés, en Ontario et au Québec. En 2009, nous avons diffusé plus de 12 000 heures de programmation originale, du contenu canadien à 100 pour cent. 2367 Nous sommes extrêmement fiers des liens étroits que nous avons su créer avec chacune des communautés que nous desservons ainsi qu'avec nos 900 bénévoles et milliers d'organisations, en vue de refléter les intérêts et les besoins des résidents locaux. 2368 Today we wish to focus our comments on three key points: 2369 First, the existing framework for community television works well. Access, diversity and community partnerships continue to thrive. 2370 Second, community channels are well positioned to fill the void left by broadcasters when they exit local news production. 2371 Third, the existing level of funding for cable community channels must be maintained. Any decrease to existing funding would substantially impact access opportunities and would render some community channels economically unviable. 2372 Before we address each of these key points in more detail, we would like to show you a sample of the community programming produced by and with the communities served by TVCOGECO in Ontario and in Quebec. We are inspired daily by the passion and the commitment of our community partners.
